What's Happening in Esports from August 15th to August 21th

Here is your schedule from August 15th to August 21th.

Overwatch League is still on a break, but don't let that get you down... the regional Overwatch Contender playoffs are happening now.

Playoffs are taking place across NA, EU, AUS, China, Korea, the Pacific, and South America.  You can find a full schedule here: Schedule

For the stream, check out the Ovewatch Contenders channel at Twitch Channel.

Last week of regular season LCS!

In NA, things definitely heated up, Cloud 9 seem unstoppable right now and TSM finally clicked and started winning. TL is close to locking in 1st place, while Golden Guardians, CLG and Clutch Gaming are out of the playoffs. Everyone else still has a chance. A lot of action and opportunity in the last week, must watch.

In EU LCS it's calmer. Playoff teams are set. Fnatic, Schalke 04, Misfits Gaming, G2, Team Vitality and Splyce.  Now we decide who's 1st seed, 2nd seed and so on.

Main Stream NALCS Stream 1 and NALCS Stream 2

EU- Schedule

We just had Kingzone DragonX vs Afreeca Freecs. I have to say, my money was on Kingzone, but I couldn't be more wrong. Afreeca dominated. Kramer and Spirit were beasts in this series and I have to admit I didn't expect Kramer to solo kill Pray in lane, especially repeatedly. Freecs just dominated, Khan and BDD tried their best to show up, but they couldn't impact the game as much as the opposing bot/jungle trio.

Now Afreeca moves on to face Griffin, what a battle this will be. Oh, and KT Rollster is going to worlds this year. YAY!
